We’re just about a month away from Election Day and town hall meetings are being held on major issues across the country. Can you guess which issue the Student Loan Ranger is going to highlight?

You got it: the country’s $1 trillion in student debt. The Student Loan Ranger wants to emphasize the broad-reaching effects of student debt and why we think voters of all ages should care about solving this problem.

    Is there any chance that Obama and Romney will be asked about this issue in the debates? I care about Federal loans, but my biggest concern is still private loans… they seem to be largely ignored still.

      Tony, we shall see what happens this evening. And, you may go to Bill Lehrer’s link at PBN, too and others broadcasting and suggest that they do discuss this. They have been collecting questions all week. If they don’t discuss it, that in itself will be very telling. There are messages in what they don’t address, just as there are in what they do address. Then again, the President may have to be careful, as this is a HOT Topic, and it could be used against a candidate and twisted facts could be detrimental. Romney wants to repeal and damage so much of what the President has put in place, so let us hope that the President gets it right folks!
